This web site was written during 2003-2004 with a few additions since then.

Technically there is nothing new here. But this web site
is different in the way it assembles and presents information.

The basic embryology is drawn from undergraduate
text books on physiology and developmental biology.

Data for the attrition of early embryos comes
from research sources and IVF web pages.
